Bridging the gap

I am pleased to say that I have been able to put together the inaugural event, in an attempt to bridge the gap between east and west. This coming Friday in Vancouver, I am looking forward to an event with aproximately 100 business people from both Vancouver and China. We are trying to find ways in which our two business communities can work together more closely as we move towards a more global economy.

Working very closely with the Burnaby Board of Trade www.burnabyboardoftrade.com and Van Club www.vanclub.org, we have been able to get the event organized. It will be taking place on Friday December the 2nd 6:30 PM at ie Design, 180 W. 3rd Ave, Vancouver.

I am really looking forward to this event as I think it can be a springboard into future events and a closer working relationship with our friends from the east. I think I need to start learning to speak Mandarin and Cantonese, I think they are quickly becoming the languages of the world trade. But I digress, Friday should be great, everyone is welcome to attend.

Cheers,

CB
